Sony Media Software ha annunciato la disponibilità per gli utenti PC del nuovo PSP Media Manager, il software appositamente studiato per consentire il trasferimento di contenuti dai personal computers alla nuova console portatile di Sony.
Tramite il PSP Media Manager si potranno sfruttare tutte le capacità di lettore multimediale della nuova PlayStation® Portable consentendo il trasferimento e la visione di musica, foto digitali e filmati.
Il trasferimento dei contenuti viene effettuato attraverso un cavo USB fornito con la versione scatolata del software acquistabile dai distributori Sony o direttamente su www.sony.com/mediasoftware o www.sonystyle.com a partire dal 1° Dicembre a US $29.95.
Invece è già disponibile per il download la versione solo software ad un prezzo di US $19.95.
PSP Media Manager consente una facile navigazione nei contenuti visualizzando la preview di foto e video per una rapida consultazione, visualizzando anche i vari dati relativa alla qualità (bitrates) di foto e video, è possibile anche visualizzare e sottoscrivere fonti RSS come Podcasts, video blogs e riviste elettroniche progettate per la PSP.
Con il software è possibile gestire anche tutti i salvataggi dei giochi e trasferirli su PC.
