Digital Film Tools releases 55mm 4.0, Composite Suite 3.0, Digital Film Lab 1.0 and zMatte 1.5 sparks for Discreet Flint, Flame, Inferno, Smoke and Fire Irix based systems. These are the same set of popular tools also available for Adobe After Effects and Compatible applications, Adobe Photoshop , Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion as well as Avid Editing Systems.

55mm 55mm is the definitive set of digital optical filters meant to simulate popular glass camera filters, specialized lenses, optical lab processes, film grain, matte generation, exacting color correction as well as natural light and photographic effects--all in a controlled digital environment with either 8 or 16 bits per channel processing. Composite Suite Composite Suite 3.0 includes sophisticated 2D Compositing tools that were previously only available in-house at Digital FilmWorks, a Los Angeles based film effects facility. Using proprietary compositing tools, matte manipulation, color correction, grain and lighting Effects, Composite Suite eradicates the most common compositing problems. The set features a well rounded collection of Compositing plug-ins such as: Composite, Drop Shadow, Edge Composite, Holdout Composite, Light Wrap, Math Composite, Non-Additive Mix and Optical Dissolve as well as specialized tools for combining imagery such as fire, smoke and explosions. Of particular use to the film production community are the Film and HDTV Masks plug-ins which define the area of the frame that will be output to film for a variety of aspect ratios. There are many other indispensable and useful tools such as DVE, Matte Generator and Repair, Film Grain and Noise, Fast Blur and Defocus, Selective Soft Focus, Deartifacting, a variety of color correctors, and last but not least, Light! for creating natural lighting effects.  Digital Film Lab Digital Film Lab, the ultimate film look spark, transforms crisp, harsh looking video into the softer, more organic look of film using the included 150 preset film looks. Digital Film Lab is made up of Color Correct, Bleach Bypass, Low Contrast, Flashing, Overexpose, Diffusion, Blur, Grad, Grain, and Post Color Correct modules, all integrated into one plug-in. Use the presets, modify them, or create your own.

zMatte zMatte is a full-featured blue and green screen keyer that is the result of the experience Digital Film Tools has in creating hundreds of successful blue and green screen composites. Using proprietary matte extraction techniques and 16-bit processing, zMatte quickly and simply creates mattes with minimal parameters even if you are dealing with fine hair detail, smoke, or reflections. It is easy to use, yet provides the needed tools when faced with good, bad, or ugly shots - tools such as multiple matte creation, automatic spill suppression, sophisticated matte and edge manipulation, light wrapping and color correction.
