Pagina 2 di 4 Now from the main menu choose size and duration of your composition, paying attention to the fact that the final render will have exactly the size of preview window, therefore, before launching the render, you must check always that the actual size is what you really wish, in order to avoid problems later. 
Blufftitler offers more than you think, this is noticeable from the fact that it support animations and effects control through key frames and, talking about duration, it is interesting to notice that also using key frames it’s extremely simple to increase or to reduce the total time of the composition. The software can extend the project or insert a specific time. These capabilities allow us to work without worrying, since we can adapt the time of the composition to our video without having every time to recreate completely the animation, a great functionality considering that Blufftitler is a standalone software and not a plug-in in our NLE software. Just after a few minutes we can feel how simple this software is. 
The left part of the control panel is dedicated to layers setup. We have nine main layers (beyond audio, capture video and passepartout layers) to use: - Light

The light layers manages two kind of light: Ambient Light and Point Light. The first is used only to modify light color while the second one modifies light intensity, shadow, position, etc. We must remember that all these values can be managed with keyframes and animated as we like. The text layer is clearly the main level and it is the one that offers more options. EPS layer allows to insert inside our composition many objects taking advantage of files with eps extension. We will see how a simple circle can assume various shapes acting simply on some presets on the control panel. Picture and video (ASF, AVI, MPG, MPEG, VOB, QT, WMV) layers can be managed like levels or like text texture. They can be modified in several shapes like cylinder, sphere, cube, heart, etc. and connected to explosions effects. Plasma and particles layers are the main features of this software. They can be used singularly (like background) or linked to other layers (for ex. text), it will be actually possible to create a lot of text effects. Joining more particles and/or plasma layers with other effects offers to the user practically endless combinations: the only limit becomes your fantasy. The model layer allows to insert 3D model with .X extension. The scroll layer is useful to create a scrolling text layer completely modifiable with the many options to become adaptable to every requirement. It’s possible to improve the scrolling fluidity by setting up the Vertical Sync in the control panel of your graphic card. The only weakness is the impossibility to create vertical scrolling. We can manage up to 64 layers at the same time but half of it is enough sufficient for many titling projects. In function of the layer type we will have different options to modify. For example, for the text level we can modify all alignment options (center, justified, circle, spiral, etc.), 3D options (belevel contours, etc.), etc. On the other hand, for particles layer we can modify emission, gravity, amplitude, etc. When you find "+" after a description, this indicates that you have modified the default value. The right part of the control panel is dedicated to the animation management. 
Here we can move with the animation, manage the keyframes, insert or eliminate time, manage layers (eliminate them, copy them, assign edges and/or particles), it is moreover possible to modify the type of speed acting on predefined interpolations: constant, accelerated speed, etc. Unfortunately the type of speed will influence the entire composition since ther is not the possibility to assign one determined interpolation to a single keyframe. The automatic selection of layers (clicking directly in the preview window) helps in their management when these begin to be more and more. This allows also an immediate animation of layer (text, Eps, model, etc.) because the software will assign a keyframe to every movement in the preview window, creating automatically an animation. Actually it will be enough to move the time bar and to drag the layer in the wished position.
