Riguardo al canopus lossless incollo un estratto da un altro forum che può essere utile, ricordo che il codec canopus è multipiattaforma (mac-pc)
Canopus HQ is a 4:2:2 sampling, variable-bitrate, intra-frame, lossy compression. This means you get less out than you put in. However, the codec is designed to preserve quality through multiple compression passes and is actually better (less compression) than HDV, DVCPRO HD, and HDCAM.
Canopus HQ compression achieves 5:1 compression on average, though it can be more or less depending on the complexity of the video.
Canopus Lossless is a 4:2:2 sampling, variable-bitrate, intra-frame, lossless compression. This means what you get out is exactly what you put in.
Canopus Lossless achieves 2:1 compression on average, though it can be more or less depending on the complexity of the video.
Canopus HQ is generally the best choice for normal editing, while Canopus Lossless is used for elements that simply must not lose any quality whatsoever.
